227    JudgesJudge who told defendant "I don't like your attitude * * * your attitude stinks" was not required to recuse himself; judge had spoken calmly and in restrained tone, without "acridity," in response to challenge in which reliance on typical legalistic jargon, spoken with gentility, would serve no purpose in advancing proceedings.
